2024

More than 112,600 attendees

During the five days of VIBE Festival 2024, a record 112,600 visitors arrived in Târgu Mureș to celebrate by the Mureș River. Alongside JASON DERULO and numerous international stars, more than 120 performances entertained the crowd, while VIBE Koli X BCR and the Fashion Corner offered 95 exciting lectures and workshops. This year marked the debut of the RetuRO recycling system and the Rent-E electric bike rental service, used by nearly a thousand festival-goers.

The sixth VIBE Festival represented another milestone, continuing to attract growing interest.

2023

Over 102,700 participants

VIBE 2023 was the biggest and most successful edition in the festival's five-year history. Around 600 concert-goers entertained the large audience, while nearly 200 Koli performers helped to keep festival-goers busy during the day. Although the VIBE Festival has always been regarded as a festival for people in their twenties, 2023 has succeeded in reaching out to other age groups.

The 2022 edition boasted breakthrough numbers, which is also due to the fact that after two years of forced rest, the Mures coast could finally host the festival again. A record number of performers and programmes were waiting for the party-goers. During the day, festival-goers could immerse themselves in the world of fashion, science and technology, while environmentally-minded "vibers" could also find a variety of interesting performances. For this festival, tickets purchased for the 2020 edition were also valid.

2021

To replace the previous year's postponed festival, we organised "VIBE: The City Edition", which debuted as a more limited urban event. The new edition was aimed at young people in Târgu Mures, hoping that after a year and a half of pandemic, young people are eager to party to their favourite tunes again. The plan worked and exceeded expectations.

2020

Online festival with more than 230,000 viewers

The epidemic situation prevented the 2020 edition from being produced, but we didn't want to leave the audience without an experience, so we've organised an online festival with the help of streaming providers. The two days of broadcasts attracted more than 230,000 viewers to the web platform.

2019

Over 48,000 participants

The number of festival-goers increased by fifteen thousand in one year, exceeding the organisers' expectations. The average age of the participants of the growing event series has also increased, but the main target audience remains the Hungarian students from Transylvania, mainly from Târgu Mures. In addition to the VIBE Koli knowledge forum, fashion shows, workshops and theatre performances were also part of the daytime programme.

2018

Building on the experience of the previous year, we organised the second edition of the VIBE Festival with a new impetus. The line-up was expanded, both in terms of performers and programmes, and a new slogan was added: GOOD VIBES ONLY. This slogan has since then been the best reflection of the festival's mission to encourage a positive atmosphere, good cheer and fun.

2017

The first VIBE Festival started as a niche event. It was primarily aimed at the Transylvanian Hungarian youth and the community of secondary school and university student organisations. The young people who crowded the former Peninsula Festival's well-established venue on the banks of the Mures River could not only attend concerts, but also the exciting VIBE Koli presentations, where they could gain useful and valuable information on almost any topic of interest to youth. Workshops, children's activities and exhibitions were also part of the programme. Nothing proves the success of the first edition better than the fact that VIBE Festival was able to make it into Europe’s top ten new festivals.
